The Safe Passage Board of Directors unanimously voted for Cari Kettman to be the next Executive Director of Safe Passage. Kettman replaces Jane Yorn who announced earlier this year her intent to retire after leading the nonprofit for 11 years. Yorn is also a founder of the organization, established in 1997.

Fifteen Indiana FFA members from across the state are preparing for the opportunity to serve as an Indiana FFA State Officer for the upcoming year. South Ripley student Jessika Thomas, is among those competing.

The summer swim season is off and running for the area as Milan Aquatics competed in a pair of dual meets this past week in the pool.
