4-H Fair begins, Grandstand events ongoing

KOI Drag racing started off the Grandstand events on Sunday, July 23. They had classes for everything at the race. Check out the schedule of events for the Ripley Co. 4-H Fair. The heat didn’t stop the crowd and contestants from coming out to race. Pictured above are racers from Ripley and surrounding counties, from left: Jacob Bush, Kingston Buckler, Marc Miller, Shane McAdams, Cason Lambert, and Blaize Allman.

DG Harper then installed new officers for the 2023-2024 year.

Open Class Exhibits at the Ripley County Fair

Come see the Open Class Exhibits in the Homemakers Building at the Ripley County Fair. There are nearly 150 exhibits this year. Many hours of hard work were put into the projects. Many quilts and fine art projects are on display along with the two new project entries this year and of course pictures of food projects that were entered. (Foods are pictured so the food can be returned and not wasted.)
