4-H Fair begins, Grandstand events ongoing
KOI Drag racing started off the Grandstand events on Sunday, July 23. They had classes for everything at the race. Check out the schedule of events for the Ripley Co. 4-H Fair. The heat didn’t stop the crowd and contestants from coming out to race. New Milan Lions Club officers installed by District Governor
Pictured are members of the Milan Lions Club who were pleased to have District Governor Ed Harper and Vice District Governor Nancy Baxter as their guests at the July 17 meeting. DG Ed Harper spoke about all the projects the Club participates in through the District, the State and International Lions Club organization. DG Harper then installed new officers for the 2023-2024 year.

Open Class Exhibits at the Ripley County Fair
Come see the Open Class Exhibits in the Homemakers Building at the Ripley County Fair. There are nearly 150 exhibits this year. Many hours of hard work were put into the projects. Many quilts and fine art projects are on display along with the two new project entries this year and of course pictures of food projects that were entered. (Foods are pictured so the food can be returned and not wasted.)
