April: Month of the Military Child
In my first article, I wrote that when I interviewed for a teaching position with the Department of Defense Dependents Schools (DoDDS), I knew very little about this educational system which is dedicated to educating the children of our military who are stationed overseas. I hope that this article will help the readers to learn more about this very unique educational system.
COVID-19 testing site closed down in Osgood
On Thursday last week, the COVID-19 testing site located in Osgood was shut down. In a press release it noted, “Ripley County was made aware of unprofessional, inappropriate behavior by the employees of the Indiana Department of Health’s contractor at a state sponsored testing site in the county (which was located at the Ripley County Fairground Park in Osgood).This site has been closed in response to the county’s request.”
