A South Dearborn Community School bus crashed into the rear of a Rumpke trash truck Wednesday morning, March 6 at approximately 8:05 a.m. on State Road 350. According to South Dearborn Community Schools Supt. Eric Lows, 21 people were hurt, with 19 of those being middle and high school students. None of the students’ injuries are believed to be life-threatening. Students hurt in the crash were taken to Highpoint Health in Lawrenceburg, and one student was transferred to Children’s Hospital in Cincinnati. Lows said one of the students suffered two broken legs possibly. The school bus driver, along with one employee of Rumpke was injured. This is all the information we had as of press time.
